AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE NEWLY AMENDED HOUSE RULES AND PROCEDURES IN THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

Sec. 1- that the House Rules and Procedures adopted by the previous Sangguniang Bayan is hereby amended with the following amendments and insertions;

A. Composition – That the Sangguniang Bayan shall be composed of the Municipal Vice
Mayor as the Presiding Officer; Eight ( 8 ) Municipal Councilors, elected at large; President of the Association of Barangay Councils; President of the Association of the Sangguniang Kabataan and in addition thereto, there shall be three sectoral representatives coming from the Women’s Sectors and Agricultural/Industrial/Labor Sector.

B. Term of Office – The term of office of the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan
Shall be for three years which shall commence as provived by law.

C. Presiding Officer – The Municipal Vice Mayor shall be the Presiding Officer of the
Sangguniang Bayan.

D.Regular Sessions – Regular sessions of the Sangguniang Bayan shall be the first four Mondays of the month at 9:00 o’clock in the morning at the Municipal Session Hall.

E.On all Session Days of each month, there shall be an opening prayer followed by
singing of National Anthem and awit sa Bohol.

F. Vacancy – Whenever vacancy occurs or declared to exist in any of the
Committees, due to suspension, resignation or any other reasons, the same shall be filled by election of the Sanggunian.

G.Order of Business – The order of Business of the Sangguniang session shall be:

1. Call to Order
2. Opening Prayer
3. Pambansang Awit/Awit sa Bohol
4. Roll Call
5. Approval of minutes of the previous session
6. First Reading and referred to Committees of proposed ordinances, resolutions, messages, communication, petitions and memorials.
7. Committee Reports
8. Calendar of Business

- business of the day
- unassigned business
9. Proposed ordinances and resolutions
10. Other Matters
11. Adjournment

H. Period of Report – The committee shall submit a report on the proposed
ordinance or resolution within thirty ( 30 ) days from preceding
session after it has referred to it.
I. Conduct during session – During the session the members shall be in proper attire,
preferably white polo barong for make Kagawads and Lady
Barong for Lady Kagawads and observed proper decorum.

J. Smoking During Session – Smoking during session is strictly prohibited.
Smoking shall not be permitted during session except during recess.

Sec. 2 – Effectivity – That this ordinance shall take effect upon approval.

Sec. 3 – Repealing Clause – That any ordinance, laws which are contrary to the provisions of this amended House Rules and Procedures shall be deemed repealed.

Sec. 1- It is unlawful for any person or group of persons to draw water from the Bolocboloc Spring at Kayaman, Jandig, Maribojoc, Bohol by tanker or by any big container without first securing a permit from the Municipal Mayor.

Sec. 2 – There shall be a fee to be imposed to any person or group of persons who draws water from the Bolocboloc Spring in the following schedules of fees;

a.) Water tanker with a capacity of 3,000

b. ) Water tanker with a capacity of more
