RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MARIBOJOC OPERATORS AND DRIVERS ASSOCIATION ( MODA ) TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO BARANGAY CONSTITUENTS FROM INTERIOR BARANGAYS OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL DURING MARKET DAYS.

WHEREAS, survey conducted by SB Members in the entire barangays, shows that the main reason why goods, products and cottage industries are not marketed in our own public market is the absence of transportation facilities in going to and from the town proper;
WHEREAS, as of now, the transportation needs of the interior barangays of Pagnitoan, Tinibgan, San Isidro, Candavid, Jandig and San Roque are already catered by some of our vehicle operators;
WHEREAS, barangay constituents in barangay Aliguay, Toril, Busao, Agahay, and Cabawan remains to suffer the absence of transportation services and are demanding for sufficient transportation facilities that commute them and their goods directly to town without undergoing cutting trips;
WHEREAS, the absence of these transportation facilities feel them more convenient to transact postal business, to market their goods and to purchase goods in nearby towns like Antequera and Cortes;
WHEREAS, if these business are done in our own Municipality, they shall improve the Municipal Income, trade and commerce;
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government, in our effort to provide services to the Maribojochanons, request the public sectors to fully give their cooperation and support;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved to request the Maribojoc Operators and Drivers Association ( MODA ) to provide transportation services to the barangay constituents from the interior barangays during market days.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to request the Maribojoc Operators and Drivers Association ( MODA ) to make a study if providing transportation to be mentioned interior barangays daily in the morning is feasible, for this is also one of the requests of the barangays.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to the Maribojoc Operators and Drivers Association ( MODA ) President, DILG, Office and to the Barangay Captains of Aliguay, San Roque, Candavid, Tinibgan, San Isidro, Pagnitoan, Cabawan, Agahay, Busao.
