RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR DAVID B. TIROL AND THE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN THRU KAGAWAD SOCORRO B. TALLO FOR THE MONTHLY AID/HONORARIA OF P50.00/MONTH FOR BARANGAY HEALTH WORKER.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Health Workers in Maribojoc have played a vital role in the health, sanitation, cleanliness and pollution for environmental programs and as well as in child, maternal and aged care and all other activities here in the different barangays of our municipality;

WHEREAS, the meager aid/allowance they have received P50.00 per barangay every month regardless of the number of workers per barangay is not enough for most of them are living below the poverty line not with standing the fact that the prices of prime commodities are doubly high and to date they have not received subsistence aid from the Provincial Government since January 1992 to September, 1992;

WHEREAS, the scope of responsibility of each barangay health worker which is by doing free services as well as humanitarian and heroic act and deeds in an unexpected time and on unexpected places even to the extend of sacrificing there lives just to save one, not to mention they are required to perform a one day duty every month in the Municipal Health Centers;

WHEREAS, it is just fair to give credence and attention of the plight of these barangay health workers who is one way give their heart to their role, with sincere commitment to serve the barangay people by increasing their honoraria/aid to P50.00 per barangay health worker.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to request the Honorable Governor David B. Tirol and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol thru Hon. Socorro B. Tallo for the monthly aid of P50.00 per barangay health worker.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to Gov. David B. Tirol, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan thru Hon. Socorro B. Tallo, the Provincial Health Officer, the Budget Officer and the Municipal Health Officer, Maribojoc, Bohol.
