RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COCKFIGHTING ACTIVITIES ON OCTOBER 15, 16, 17, 1992 AT THE MARIBOJOC COCKERS CIRCLE, SAN VICENTE, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL

WHEREAS, the Management of the Maribojoc Cockers Circle has requested the Sangguniang Bayan to grant and approve the cockfighting activities on October 15, 16, 17, 1992 at the Maribojoc Cockers Cockfit, San Vicente, Maribojoc, Bohol, sponsored by the Management;
WHEREAS, per provision of the Local Government Code of 1991, the Local Government Unit is impowered to approve cockfighting activities;
WHEREAS, the present the Maribojoc Multi Purpose Pavement ( tennis court ) has no lighting facilities wherein tennis players could play during night time;
WHEREAS, the cockfighting activities scheduled on October 15, 16, 17, 1992 will be for the benefit of the “ Alay Lakad ” ’92 projects in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan approves the cockfighting activities provided at the Cockpit Management will pay a amusement tax the Provincial Government of Bohol per provision of the Provincial Ordinance of 1986;
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to approve the cockfighting activities on October 15, 16, 17, 1992 at the Maribojoc Cockers Cockpit, San Vicente, Maribojoc, Bohol.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, the Gamefowl Commission, Cebu City for information and guidance.
