RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE PRESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT STAFF,OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT TO APPROPRIATE AND RELEASE THE AMOUNT OF P2,000,000.00 FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE INTAKE TANK AND CONSTRUCTION OF RESERVOIR AND PIPELINES AT SUADES SPRING, ALIGUAY, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the Maribojoc Waterworks System was established in the early 1930’s with an Intake Tank at Suades Spring, Aliguay, Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, after a lapse of 60 years the Intake Tank and the pipelines are leaking, thus it caused a low water supply to the consumers of Barangay Aliguay, Cabawan, Lincod, San Vicente, Anislag and Poblacion;
WHEREAS, due to the increasing numbers of consumers, the water supply at the Intake Tank of Suades Spring could not suffice to needs of the growing numbers of water consumers;
WHEREAS, due to the dilapidating pipelines and the leaking Intake Tank at Suades Spring, there is an urgent need to rehabilitate the Intake Tank and pipelines plus the construction of s reservoir bigger than the present intake tank so that the other water source besides the present source of water will be tapped to augment the water supply for the different consumers;
WHEREAS, since water is the basic needs of our people, it is the primary concern of the officials of the town of Maribojoc, Bohol to deliver these services for our constituents;
WHEREAS, these basic needs of our people could not be delivered if the National Government would not assist the Local Government to deliver these services to our people;
Now, on motion of Hon. Nicanor Lamoste in their session duly assembled;
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to request the Presidential Management Staff, Office of the President to appropriate and release the amount of P2,000,000.00 the rehabilitation of the Intake Tank and construction of reservoir and pipelines at Suades Spring, Aliguay, Maribojoc, Bohol.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, the Presidential Management Staff, Office of the President thru Hon. Rhytt Pelaez, Malacañang Palace, Cebu Extention Office, Cebu City for his kind consediration and appropriate action.
