A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE MAYOR, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL TO ORDER THE LOCAL WATERWORKS TO STOP INSTALLING WATER CONNECTIONS TO APPLICANT CONSUMERS PENDING RESOLUTION OF SOME PROBLEMS RELATIVE TO THE WATER SYSTEM.

WHEREAS, it is a discovered fact that the Municipality of Maribojoc has been consuming large amount of electricity to the detriment of the coffers of the town;
WHEREAS, it is also a fact that large amount of electric consumption is relative to the suction of water from the source;
WHEREAS, there is no equal compensation remitted from the consumers because unavailability of water meters, thus resulting on payment of water bills based on flat rate;
WHEREAS, it has been observed by the task force created to study the water system operation of Maribojoc that there are several families who share with their neighbors using one water connection and paying only at flat rate equivalent to one consumer;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to request the Honorable Mayor, Maribojoc, Bohol to order the Local Waterworks to stop installing water connections to applicant-consumers pending resolution of the above-named problems to ensure cut-off of financial losses to the Municipality.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to disseminate this information to the barangay officers affected for their guidance and cooperation.
