AUTHORIZING THE LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ADVISOR, FINANCING INSTITUTIONS AND THE APPLICANTS OF THE MANPOWER AND PLACEMENT OFFICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Mayor thru the Municipal Manpower Development and Placement Officer of the Manpower and Placement Office in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol has submitted to the Sangguniang Bayan a Position Paper for possible deployment of interested applicants who are willing to work in foreign countries especially in the United Kingdom for legislative action;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan has conducted a Committee of the Whole consultation with the presence of the Manpower and Placement Officer, in order to brief and shed light of the important informations regarding the project proposal for the SB Members to apprehend and understand fully the ideas of the position paper;
WHEREAS, the project is laudable on the ground that it can help the applicants in their desire to work abroad for the upliftment of their respective families and at the same time it can add more income to the Local Government of Maribojoc directly or indirectly;
WHEREAS, once the project will be implemented, the local economy will be improved and the quality of life of the people will be enhanced especially the families of the concerned workers who will be remitting their hard earned money for their respective families;
WHEREAS, in order that this project will be successful it is important to support the vision and dreams of the Chief Executive to help our constituents to find jobs abroad;
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled;
BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize the Local Chief Executive of Maribojoc, Bohol to negotiate and enter into a contract with the International Students Advisor, Financing Institutions and the applicants of the Manpower and Placement Office in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished the Hon. Leoncio B. Evasco, Jr., Municipal Mayor, Maribojoc, Bohol for his appropriate action.
