A RESOLUTION FAVORABLY ENDORSING THE APPLICATION FOR QUARRY OPERATION OF MRS. FELISA LAPASA BATAUSA IN CANDAVID, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, Felipa Lapasa Batausa, a native of Maribojoc, Bohol who’s married in Tubigon, appeared before the regular session of the Sangguniag Bayan of Maribojoc last April 26, 2002 requesting for a favorable indorsement of her application for a quarry operation of an ancestral land in Candavid, Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, said resolution of the Sangguniang Bayan is a requisite requirement of her application for the issuance of an Environment Certificate of Compliance;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Felipa L. Batausa together with her co-heirs have appeared before the regular assemblies in Candavid, Maribojoc, Bohol where they jointly appealed to the people and the barangay officials that they given a favorable indorsement of their application;
WHEREAS, the people of Candavid, Maribojoc, Bohol gave their unanimous approval to the pleas of the applicants, thus prompting the Sangguniang Pambarangay of Candavid, Maribojoc, Bohol to also issue a resolution favorably indorsing the application of Mrs. Batausa for a quarry operation in said barangay;
WHEREAS, the grant of quarry permit to Mrs. Batausa will not generate income for the local governments of Barangay Candavid and the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol but will also provide a ready supply of limestone (anapog) for the prompt road repair and maintenance for the different provincial and barangay roads in the municipality;
WHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to favorable endorse the application for quarry operation of Mrs. Felisa L. Batausa in Candavid, Maribojoc, Bohol in order for her to expedite her application for the issuance of an Environmental Certificate of compliance;
RESOLVED FURTHER that a copy of this resolution be furnished, the Hon. Gabino C. Redulla, Municipal Mayor, Maribojoc, Bohol and Mr. Arius C. Ilano, Sr. Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer, DENR-Bohol, Tagbilaran City, for their information and prompt action.
