RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC UTILITIES AND THE COMMITTEE OF FISHING AND AQUATIC RESOURCES TO INSTALL FLOURESCENT LIGHTING IN BOLOCBOLOC SPRING, KAYAMAN, JANDIG, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the resolution to transfer the Mercury Vapor Lamp from the tip of the wharf to Bolocboloc Spring was withdrawn by the proponent;
WHEREAS, the author of the resolution understand fully the necessity of having a mercury vapor lamp in the wharf for the construction of the wharf is almost finish and it also serve to guide fisherfolks in their night activities;
WHEREAS, the two Committees recommended not to get the Mercury Vapor Lamp but to install fluorescent lighting in Bolocboloc Spring, Kayaman, Jandig, Maribojoc, Bohol to safeguard our drinking water supply and for their convenience of the caretaker and the Pumping Operator in doing their job at night. This light will also serve the people who pass by the spring at night;
WHEREAS, to facilitate the immediate installation of fluorescent lamp, the power will be tapped from the house connection of Mr. Marcial Jabines temporarily while we apply for a connection of Boheco-I;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved to request the MPDC to install temporary fluorescent lighting in Bolocboloc Spring, Jandig, Maribojoc, Bohol;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that an appropriation ordinance be passed for this purpose and request the Municipal Treasurer to release the amount appropriated for.
RESOLVED FINNALLY, that the copies of this resolution be furnished, the Hon. Mayor, Atty. Jose E. Veloso, the MPDC, Mr. Ruben Delarmente and the Municipal Treasurer, Mrs. Josefina Porlares for their information and immediate implementation.
