RESOLUTION EXPRESSING HEARTFELT APPRECIATION FOR THE IMMEDIATE ACTION MADE BY PNP MEMBERS ON THE REPORTED ILLEGAL CUTTING OF TREES AT BAYACABAC, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, illegal cuttings of trees is so rampant in several barangays in our Municipality of Maribojoc.
WHEREAS, the Legislative Body of our Municipality is trying to enact measures just to solve this said problem;
WHEREAS, this program of eliminating illegal cutting of trees should be enacted jointly with the PNP Officials;
WHEREAS, recently, a report was received by the SB Members that illegal cut wood volts are found in barangay Bayacabac;
WHEREAS, upon referring the said report to the PNP Officers, the PNP Officers respond immediately;
WHEREAS, from the action taken by the PNP Officers, they were be able to confiscate 266 assorted kind of illegally cut wood volts which are now in their custody;
WHEREAS, the legislative body of our municipality is happy to see the cooperation given by the PNP Officers, and is hopeful that this cooperation will continue every time their service are needed;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan, representing the people of Maribojoc, Bohol wish to express appreciation to the PNP Officers;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved, that PNP Officers be given due appreciation for the action taken.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, to all PNP Members, Office of the DILG and to the PNP Provincial Office for information.

RESOLUTION INDORSING THE RESOLUTION OF THE BOHECO-I BOARD OF DIRECTORS REQUESTING THE NATIONAL ELECTRIFICATION ADMINISTRATION ( NEA ) TO RECONSIDER ITS DECISION TO HAVE THE POWER GENERATED BY JANOPOL-MINI HYDRO PROJECT AS EQUALLY SHARED WITH BOHECO-II INSTEAD TO THE ORIGINAL PLAN, THAT IS ONLY EXCESS POWER OF JANOPOL AFTER BOHECO-I REQUIREMENT BE GIVEN TO BOHECO-II.

WHEREAS, the Janopol Mini Hydro Plant is located at Barangay Janopol, Balilihan, Bohol one of the 26 towns within the franchised area of Boheco-I;
WHEREAS, Boheco-I was the one who cooperated and assisted with the Norwegian government and National Electrification Administration ( NEA ) in the conduct of the feasibility studies in 1980 and 1981 and infact, up to the present, Boheco-I is reverently cooperating with NEA with regards to this project;
WHEREAS, recent decision of the National Electrification Administration
( NEA) will equally share the power generated by the Janopol Mini Plant to Boheco-I and Boheco-II;
WHEREAS, in this situation the power generated by the Janopol Mini-Hydro Power Plant could not fully served the original plan envisioned by Boheco-I and NEA in the part years of planning;
WHEREAS, the original plan is to serve first the Boheco-I and if there is an excess power of the franchised area of Boheco-I then it will be shared to Boheco-II.
WHEREAS, in order to satisfy the entire Boheco-I consumers, it is imperative that the original plan will be respected and the decision to share equally the power generated by the Janopol Mini Hydro Plant between Boheco-I and Boheco-II be scraped and be considered by the benefit of Boheco-I, the original beneficiary of the power plant.
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to request the National Electrification Administration ( NEA ) to reconsider its decision to have the power generated by Janopol MHP be equally shared with Boheco-II, instead of the original plan, that is only excess power of Janopol MHP after Boheco-I requirements be given to Boheco-II.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the REM VII and NEA Board thru the Honorable Administrator Rodrigo E. Cabrera for their just and fair actions.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Leaders as well as the people will be enlightened thru trainings and information dissemination on the context of the Local Gov’t Code of 1991;

RESOLUTION REQUESTING SENATOR ( 24 SENATORS ) , PHILIPPINE SENATE, MANILA FOR SPECIAL FUNDING OF DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL OUT OF HIS/HER COUNTRYSIDE DEVELOPMENT FUND.

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol is a fifth class town whose income defends on agriculture and fishing industry;
WHEREAS, the town of Maribojoc if fourteen (14) kilometers from the city of Tagbilaran with a population of 15, 823 Maribojochanons living in the 22 barangays;
WHEREAS, the municipality of maribojoc needs during for the town’s infrastructure and development project for the common welfare and benefits of the community and its people;
WHEREAS, Maribojoc needs School buildings, Home Economic Building, Rain collectors in the barangays, water impounding, concrete roads, reconstruction of market block tiendas, a fish port, improvement of tourism project, improvement of the Maribojoc, Waterworks System, artesian wells, improvement of Barangay Halls, a pumpboat and livelihood projects for the people;
WHEREAS, without a funding from outside source, these development projects of Maribojoc, Bohol will never be realized because Maribojoc has no sources of fund to materialize its implementation;
WHEREAS, with the help of the Honorable Senator of the Philippines, those projects will come into its realization;
WHEREAS, herewith enclosed it our listing priority projects for you to allot an amount for a certain project being included in our Local Investment Development Program ( LDIP ) of this municipality;
