RESOLUTION ADOPTING DEP ED ORDER NO.83, SERIES OF 2007 ENTITLED “STRENGTHENING RESPECT AND ALLEGIANCE TO THE PHILIPPINE FLAG IN ALL SCHOOLS AND OFFICES” BY ACTUAL SINGING OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.

WHEREAS, the Philippine flag is the symbol of our country’s sovereignty and unity;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Dep Ed Order No. 83, Series of 2007, respect and allegiance to the Philippine flag shall be strengthening by the actual singing of the National Anthem during the flag raising and retreat;
WHEREAS, the actual singing of the National Anthem must not be replaced by canned music;
WHEREAS, the actual singing of the National Anthem is not a sing-along nor simultaneous singing of a canned music;
WHEREAS, the actual singing of the National Anthem maybe acapella or may have a recorded accompaniment;
WHEREAS, a well-versed person shall conduct the singing to ensure that the official song is sung correctly and properly;
WHEREAS, all flag raising and retreat in schools, offices, barangay assemblies and programs shall adopt the actual singing of the National Anthem;
WHEREAS, such order shall be strictly complied with;
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol in their session duly assembled to adopt Dep Ed Order No. 83, Series -2007 entitled “Strengthening Respect and Allegiance to the Philippine Flag in all Schools and Officers” by actual singing of the National Anthem;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copies of this resolution be furnished to all Barangay Captains of Maribojoc, Bohol for their information and guidance.
