REQUESTING HON. SENATOR RAMON B. REVILLA, JR., PHILIPPINE SENATE, MANILA, CHAIRMAN OF THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS, TO APPROPRIATE AND RELEASE AN AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION PESOS (P1M), OUT OF HIS DISCRETIONARY FUND FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF MARIBOJOC WATERWORKS SYSTEM OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, one of the primary thrusts of governance is to provide and deliver the basic needs of the governed;
WHEREAS, water is one of the most basic needs that remain a luxury among a great majority of our people;
WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Maribojoc, a fifth class municipality in the province of Bohol, is not without its share of inadequacy in the delivery of water to its constituents especially those living the far-flung barangays of the municipality owing to the perennial problem of lack of funds, its coffer, being IRA-dependent;
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol in its session duly assembled;
BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to request Hon. Senator Ramon B. Revilla, Jr., Philippine senate, Manila to appropriate and release an amount of One Million Pesos (P1.M) out of his discretionary fund, for the concreting of Poblacion-Campos Street;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that a copy of this resolution be furnished, the Hon. Senator Ramon B. Revilla, Philippine Senate, Pasay City, Metro Manila for his appropriate action and kind consideration of this request.
