RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICER, PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE, MIDWIFE, SANITARY INSPECTOR AND OTHER RELATED PERSONNEL TO VISIT TWO (2) BARANGAYS EVERY MONTH FOR CONSULTATION AND MEDICAL CLINIC AS EXTENTION OF THEIR DUTIES TO THE DIFFERENT BARANGAYS OF OUR MUNICIPALITY.

WHEREAS, it has been a long time wish of our barangay people living in the remote areas and who have no barangay health center to receive their basic services which has long been neglected;
WHEREAS, this has been a problem to barangay patients to come personally for consultation at our Municipal Health Center due to old age, financial problem and incapacitated;
WHEREAS, the present Barangay Health Midwife assigned in some Barangay Health Centers who rendered services cannot suffice the many health problems of our barangay constituents;
WHEREAS, if the Municipal Health Officer together with the other related Health Personnel will schedule a barangay visit they could see the actual situation of the health problems and sanitation of the different barangays;
WHEREAS, there shall be a proper distribution of medicines and implementation
of programs and projects this ensuing the efficient and effective delivery of basic services and facilities as provided under section 17 of the Local Government Code of 1991;
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to request the Municipal Health Officer, Public Health Nurse, Midwife, Dentist, Sanitary Inspector and other related personnel, Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol to visit two ( 2 ) barangays every month for consultation and medical clinic as extention of their duties to improve the health status of our less fortunate constituents and be able to achieve a health community.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, Dr. Victor A. Descallar, Municipal Health Officer, Maribojoc, Bohol, Dr. Galileo Pepito, Provincial Health Officer, Tagbilaran City and Hon. Jose E. Veloso, Municipal Mayor, Maribojoc, Bohol for their information and appropriate action.
