RESOLUTION REQUESTING HON. ALAN PETER “COMPAÑERO” S. CAYETANO, SENATOR, PHILIPPINE SENATE, MANILA TO APPROPRIATE AND RELEASE THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P300,000.00), OUT OF HIS DISCRETIONARY FUND, TO PURCHASE SETS OF ATHLETIC SPORTS APPARATUSES FOR THE SPORTS PROGRAM IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF MARIBOJOC DISTRICT, MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, PROVINCE OF BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the selection and training of potential athletes for higher level athletic sports competitions begin in the elementary and secondary educational level pupils and students;
WHEREAS, the potential athletes could not avail of full and thorough preparation and training because they lack the apparatuses necessary in the different athletic sports events;
WHEREAS, the athletic sports apparatuses of the district are not serviceable due to the “wear and tear” of time;
WHEREAS, the athletic sports apparatuses used in the training were borrowed from the Division Office which in some times could not be availed of being lent to other districts;
WHEREAS, the Special Education Fund (SEF) of the Local School Board has a meager budget for the Sports Program of the public schools in the district.
WHEREAS, these uncertainties may damper the enthusiasm of the potential athletes whose future may have relied on the District Level Sports Program.
WHEREFORE, be it resolved, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol in their session duly assembled to request Hon. Alan Peter “Compañero” S. Cayetano, Senator, Philippines Senate, Manila to appropriate and release the amount of Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (P300,000.00), out of his discretionary fund, to purchase sets of Athletic Sports Apparatuses for the Sports Program in the Public Schools of Maribojoc District Municipality of Maribojoc, Province of Bohol;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to Hon. Alan Peter S. Cayetano, Senator, Philippines Senate, Manila for his information and appropriate action.
