REQUESTING HON. SENATOR MAR A. ROXAS, PHILIPPINE SENATE, MANILA TO APPROPRIATE AND RELEASE AN AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION AND FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P2.5M), OUT OF HIS DISCRETIONARY FUND, FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF BLOCK TIENDA BUILDING AT THE MARIBOJOC PUBLIC MARKET, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, the block tienda building at the Maribojoc Public Market is already dilapidated and it needs reconstruction for the safety of the occupants amnd customes of said area;
WHEREAS, the block tienda building needs to be reconstructed on the ground that it is also an eye sore to public view;
WHEREAS, the block tienda building shall be reconstructed because the public market is the show window of the town;
WHEREAS, the block tienda building has existed for more than 50 years and really it needs to be reconstructed in order to attract more vendors and customers at the public market;
WHEREAS, this block tienda building (left wing) should be reconstructed in order to be in conformity with the block tienda building (right wing) of the said public market;
WHEREAS, the reconstruction of this block tienda can add more income to the municipal treasury for a new rate of monthly rental of the block tienda spaces at the Maribojoc Public Market;
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol in its session duly assembled;
BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to request Hon. Senator Mar A. Roxas, Philippines Senate, Manila, to appropriate and release an amount of Two Million and Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (2.5M), out of his discretionary fund, for the reconstruction of the block tienda building at the Maribojoc Public Market;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that a copy of this resolution be furnished, the Hon. Senator Mar A. Roxas, Philippine senate, Pasay City, Metro Manila for his appropriate action and kind consideration of this request.
