A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC UTILITIES TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF THE MARIBOJOC WATERWORKS SYSTEM.

WHEREAS, the committee on Public Utilities has conducted a committee meeting together with the employees of the Maribojoc Waterworks System in order to evaluate the problems presented by the personnel;
WHEREAS, during the meeting the personnel of Maribojoc Waterworks System presented before the committee the problems which effect the management and the operation of the system;
WHEREAS, if these problems will not be given due solutions, the Maribojoc Waterworks System will not be improved and more problems will come up which will be detrimental to the management of said system;
WHEREAS, the Committee on Public Utilities in their meeting duly assembled has recommended the following solutions to the problems presented by the personnel of the Maribojoc Waterworks System;
1. To create a task force in order to check and survey the water
connections such as leaking pipes, faucets and water meters in the different houses and establishments;
2.The inspector team/task force will be composed of the following:
a.) 1 member PNP
b.) 1 meter reader
c.) 1 SB Member
d.) 1 plumber
3.Submission of monthly delinquent names of water consumers to the
Sangguniang Bayan.
4.To recommend the creation of the waterworks office with the
following personnel to man the office:
a.) Chief of the waterworks – Municipal Engineer
b.) 2 watermeter readers
c.) 1 clerk
d.) 1 collector
e.) 1 plumber aide
f.) 1 pumping unit operator
5.To purchase 120 water meters
6.To buy additional bicycle for the water meter reader.
7.To put billboards in strategic places with a saying to request the water consumers to save meter.
8.Coupon system in fetching water at Bolocboloc Spring.
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to adopt the recommendations of the Committee on Public Utilities to solve the problems of the Maribojoc Waterworks System as the basis for implementation.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, the copies of the resolution be furnished to the Municipal Mayor, Station Commander, Personnel of the Maribojoc Waterworks System and other concerned for their information and guidance.
