RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE DEADLINE FOR THE PAYMENT OF BUSINESS LICENSES AND MAYOR’S PERMIT FROM JANUARY 20 TO JANUARY 31, 2008 IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL..

WHEREAS, it was found out that there are only few business establishment or other kinds of business operation which have secured Business Permits or Mayor’s Permit from the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, it is expected that after the deadline there will be more or less 375 business establishments who will register their respective enterprise in the Office of the Local Chief Executive of the town in order to operate in the municipality;
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the Sangguniang Bayan to regulate any business operation in the municipality as well as the conditions under which the license for said business maybe used or revoked accordingly;
WHEREAS, in order to give a chance for operators, proprietors and other business establishments to secure a Business Permit or Mayor’s Permit for Calendar Year 2008, it is imperative that the deadline for the payment of these permits be extended to January 31, 2008;
WHEREAS, business establishment found to have failed the acquisition of these permits after January 31, 2008 shall be penalized with a surcharge of 25%;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled;
“To extend deadline for the payment of business license and Mayor’s Permit from January 20, 2008 to January 31, 2008 in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution, be furnished to the Municipal Treasurer’s Office for their guidance.
