EXTENDING THE DEADLINES OF THE PAYMENT OF BUSINESS PERMIT / MAYOR’S PERMIT ON JANUARY 31, 2002 IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL WITHOUT PENALTY.

WHEREAS, as of January 22, 2002, there only 210 business establishments or other kinds of business operations which have secured a Business operations which have secured a Business Permit or Mayor’s Permit from the Office of the Mayor of Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, for C.Y. 2001, there were 388 business establishments which were registered in the office of the Mayor in order to operate business in the municipality;
WHEREAS, in order to give a chance for operators, proprietors and other business establishments to secure a Business Permit / Mayor’s Permit for calendar year 2002, it is imperative that the deadline for the payment of Business Permit / Mayor’s Permit be extended on January 31, 2002;
WHEREAS, as of January 22, 2002 there are still 178 business establishments or other kinds of business which have not secured a Business Permit with the Office of the Mayor of Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS those business establishments which have not secured Business Permit will not be penalized for a 25% surcharge from January 22-31, 2002;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session assembled;
“To extend the deadline of the payment of Business Permit / Mayor’s Permit on January 31, 2002 in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol without penalty;”
BE IT RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved to declare the Barangay Ordinance No. 11-2001 of Dipatlong, Barangay Ordinance No. 9-2001 of Jandig and Barangay Bood Supplemental Budget, C.Y. 2001 as valid pursuant to R.A. 7160;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this resolution be furnished, the Municipal Treasurer’s Office for their guidance and implementation..
