RECOGNIZING BARANGAY CAPTAIN MARCELINO B. DAPITON, PRESIDENT, ASSOCIATION OF BARANGAY COUNCILS, AS EX-OFFICIO MEMBER OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Memorandum Circular issued by the Executive Director Eduardo D.L. Tiongson of the Liga ng Mga Barangay, National Office, Manila which clarifies on the term of office of the Liga ng mga Barangay Presidents at all levels and their Ex-Officio membership in their respective sanggunian, the ABC President is an Ex-Officio Member in the Sangguniang Bayan per provisions of R.A. 7160;
WHEREAS, the Liga Chapter President of the Maribojoc, Bohol, in the person of Barangay Captain Marcelino B. Dapiton, assumed the Presidency of the Liga ng mga Barangay of Maribojoc being elected last December 26, 2007 as President of the Association of Barangay Council of Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, it is imperative that his membership in the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc will be recognize his representation in the said body;
WHEREAS, his membership in the Sangguniang Bayan will end until the elected ABC Presidents will assume office as mandated by the existing laws;
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sanguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled,
BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to recognize Hon. Marcelino B. Dapiton, President of the Association of Barangay Council, as Ex-Officio Member of the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, to all concerned.
