ENDORSING THE COMMUNITY BASED ECO-TOURISM PROJECT OF THE DIPATLONG MANGROVE PLANTERS ASSOCIATION (DIMAPA) DIPATLONG, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL TO THE PANIBAGONG PARAAN PROJECT, THRU THE WORLD BANK FOR POSSIBLE FUNDING ASSISTANCE.

WHEREAS, the Dipatlong Mangrove Planters Association (DIMAPA) is a Community Based People’s Organization duly accredited in the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, DIMAPA aims to protect our environment especially in the mangrove areas of the Maribojoc seashore particularly in Dipatlong and Bood mangrove areas;
WHEREAS, is undertaking a mangrove rehabilitation project in Dipatlong seashore with an agreement with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR);
WHEREAS, DIMAPA is seeking financial assistance with the Panibagong Paraan Project thru the World Bank in order to sustain their Community Based-Tourism Project at Dipatlong, Maribojoc, Bohol;
WHEREAS, the project innovation features night boat paddling within the CBFMA and it is a one year project duration;
WHEREAS, the Eco-Tourism Project of DIMAPA at Dipatlong, Maribojoc, Bohol has improved the marine habitats of the area wherein the fishermen of the area have enjoyed a bountiful catch of marine lives;
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved by the Sanguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol in session duly assembled,
BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to endorse the Community Based Eco-Tourism Project of the Dipatlong Mangrove Planters Association (DIMAPA), Dipatlong, Maribojoc, Bohol to the Panibagong Paraan Project thru the World Bank for possible funding assistance for their environmental project;
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished, the Officer-In-Charge of Panibagong Paraan Project and the World Bank Officials for appropriate action of this request.
