AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING SCHEDULE OF FEES IN THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH UNIT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF HEALTH SERVICES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

WHEREAS, it is the prime duty of the Local Government Units to be self-reliance and self-sustaining as provide in the Local Government Code;
WHEREAS, recently the Municipal Government of Maribojoc has purchase medicines for the devolved Municipal Health Center to facilitate its function and provide health and social welfare services of the people of Maribojoc;
WHEREAS, it is desired by the Municipal Government to help augment our Local Funds by way of payments thru schedule of fees;
WHEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol that;
Sec.1- The Municipal Treasurer will receive payment of P50% of the cost price of medicines and other medical supplies purchased by the Municipal Government of Maribojoc issued to patients and the 50% shall be subsidized by the Municipal Government.
Sec.2- The cost of medicines and other medical supplies issued to patients shall be determined by the Municipal Health Personnel in term perhaps by donations by the patients to the Municipal Government with of course corresponding official receipts from the Municipal Treasurer.
Sec.3- In case there are medicines procured in the form of donation and solicitations from other sources by the Municipal Government and Municipal Health Center then it shall be given FREE to patients most specially indigents who are certified by the DSWD Social Worker Officer and Municipal Treasurer.
Sec.4- Only certified patients who undergo consultation with the Municipal Health Officer will be considered by the Municipal Health Personnel for the 50% cost of medicines.
Sec.5- Consultation should be free of charge. Only the following schedule of fees are to be charge in order to maintain our Health Services in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol to wit;
Dressing Fee P5.00 ( cotton, alcohol, betadine, gauge bandage )
Syringes & Needles- paid at variable cost price
Laboratory Fee- rate will be based momentarily on the DOH rates, as provided in Administrative Order No. 97, S. 1990 to be increased by 20% as inflation fee.
Sec.6- This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
