Municipal Ordinance No.177 Series of 1985

ORDINANCE PROHIBITING LOT OCCUPANTS IN THE MUNICIPAL LOT ALONG THE STA. CRUZ STREET TO PLANT TALL TREES AND COCONUT TREES FRO PROTECTION PURPOSES.

Be it ordained by the Municipal Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that;

Sec.1- It is unlawful for any person or group of persons to plant trees or coconut trees in the municipal lot along Sta.Cruz Street in order to protect the residences in the area especially during typhoons;

Sec.2- This ordinance prohibits the planting of big trees in the area because it is a residential place;

Sec.3- Anybody who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined of not less than P100.00 or an imprisonment of five (5) days or both at the discretion of the Court.

Sec.4- That this ordinance takes effect upon approval.

LET copies be furnished, the lot occupants, the Municipal Treasurer and the Station Commander for their information and guidance.
