AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A PERSON OR GROUP OF PERSONS TO SECURE THE BUILDING PERMIT BEFORE CONSTRUCTING OR MAKING GENERAL REPAIR OF ANY BUILDING IN THE LOCALITY OF MARIBOJOC.

WHEREAS, it is the duty of the local legislative body to regulate activities relative to the use of land, building and structures within the Municipality in order to promote general welfare;

WHEREAS, under the local government code, Sangguniang Bayan is empowered to process and approve sub-divisions for residential, commercial and industrial purposes and other development purposes subject to national law;

WHEREAS, the Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways is now partially devolved in the local government units;

WHEREAS, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan, that;

Sec.1- No person, firm or corporation, including any agency or instrumentality of the government, shall erect, construct, alter, repair, move, convert or demolish any building or structure or cause the same to be done without first obtaining a building permit from the Local Building Official.

Sec.2- Definition of Terms:

a.) Building Permit – is a written authorization granted by Building Official to an applicant allowing him to proceed with the construction of a specific project after pertinent documents have been found to be in conformity with the National Building Code.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that;

Sec.1- That the Municipal Ordinance No. 554, series of 1992 approving the Annual General Fund Budget, CY 1993 in the amount of P5,125.035.00 is hereby amended by Municipal Ordinance No. 9, series of 1993 into P5,967.603.00, CY 1993 in the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.

Sec.2- That the Appropriation Ordinance carries the following salary rates schedule for Municipal Officials and Employees, to wit:

a.) For appointed officials including the Mayor and Vice Mayor – – – — – 100%
