AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SHARING RATE FROM THE GROSS SALE OF THE PRODUCTION OF THE NIPA HARVESTED AT THE MUNICIPAL FOREST, SITIO POSTAN, CABAWAN, MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:
SECTION 1: That there shall be a fixed sharing of the net sale of the production of the nipa harvested at the Municipal forest, sitio Postan, Cabawan, Maribojoc, Bohol.
SECTION 2: That the Sharing rate shall be as follows:
a) Person (s) contracting the production of nipa shingles ——- 70%
b) Barangay Government of Cabawan ——- 10%
c) Municipal Government of Maribojoc ——- 20%
SECTION 3: That a Deed of Agreement shall be executed by and between the Municipal Government, represented by the Municipal Mayor and the person or group of persons interested in the production of nipa shingles out of the nipa harvested from the said municipal forest and such Deed of Agreement shall terminate offer the lapse of five (5) years and maybe renewable.
SECTION 4: That during the sale of the nipa shingles, the barangay chairman of shall be present as witness.
SECTION 5: That the amount of the corresponding shares shall be remitted by the person or group of persons contracting the nipa shingle production to the Municipal Government and the Barangay Government not later than one week after such sale.
SECTION 6: That this ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
