AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE MPDC AS OFFICER-IN-CHARGE OF THE MARIBOJOC WATERWORKS SYSTEM IN CONCURRENT CAPACITY.

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:

SECTION 1: In order to improve the services of the Maribojoc Waterworks
System which has deteriorated considerably for the last ten (10) years, it is imperative to designate a person who will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of said system.:

SECTION 2: The main reason for this state / condition of the system is the lack
of proper and close supervision in its maintenance and operation.

SECTION 3: To forestall deterioration of the system and improve its services to
the water consuming public and insurance to Section 161 and sub-section I of Article 8 of the Local Government Code (BP 337), this ordinance designates the MPDC as Officer-In-Charge of the Maribojoc Waterworks System in concurrent capacity.

SECTION 4: That this ordinance takes effect upon approval.

After due deliberation.
