REGULATING THE USE OF THE WATER FAUCET INSTALLED IN THE VICINITY OF THE MUNICIPAL HALL OF MARIBOJOC.

WHEREAS, it has been observed that some people are using the water faucet installed in the vicinity of the Municipal Hall for private purposes;
WHEREAS, the use of the water faucet for private use can be a wastage of water since it is not the benefit of the whole town;
WHEREAS, in order to save the water supply, it is important that the use of the said water connection should be regulated;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled;
BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan in their session duly assembled:
SECTION 1 The water faucet installed in the vicinity of the Maribojoc Municipal hall is not for public use but for the consumption of the LGU-Maribojoc.
SECTION 2 To save the wastage of water, it is necessary that rules and regulations will be followed by the users.
SECTION 3 Hereunder are the guidelines for its use to wit:
a) The water supply in the said faucet can be used for drinking purposes.
b) If somebody wishes to fetch water from the faucet, he/she shall ask permission from the Municipal engineer or the authorize representative from the Municipal engineer or the authorize representative from the Municipal Engineer’s Office
SECTION 4 Prohibition of its use.
a) No person or group of persons is allowed to use the water connection for car or motor washing by private persons.
b) Nobody is allowed to take a bath or wash clothes from this water connection.
SECTION 5 Exemptions.-.
a) Only official vehicles from the LGU-Maribojoc and PNP Patrol car will be allowed for car washing purposes.
SECTION 6 Separability Cluase.- Any ordinance or order which is contrary to the provisions of this ordinance is deemed repealed or null and void.
SECTION 7 Penalty.- Any person or group of persons who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined P500.00 or at the discretion of the court.
