AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE OF PORK, MEAT AND ANY INTESTINAL PARTS OF BUTCHERED PIGS, COWS, AND OTHER ANIMALS INSIDE THE MUNICIPAL SLAUGHTERHOUSE
Be it enacted by the Municipal Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:
Sec. 1 – Definition of Term:
Slaughterhouse – an abattoir or a place wherein pigs, cows and other animals are butchered for commercial and domestic purposes.
Sec. 2 – The sale of pork, meat and any intestinal parts of butchered pigs, cows and other animals inside the Municipal Slaughterhouse is prohibited by this ordinance within this jurisdiction.
Sec. 3 – Any person or group of persons who sells pork, meat and any intestinal parts of butchered pigs, cows and other materials inside the Municipal Slaughterhouse shall be fined of not less than P100.00 and not more than P200.00 or an imprisonment of not less than 4 days and not more than 8 days or both at the discretion of the Court.
Sec. 4 – Effectivity: That this ordinance shall take effect upon approval.

LET copies be furnished the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol, City of Tagbilaran for their review and approval, the Station Commander, PNP, Maribojoc, Bohol, the Meat Inspector, the Sr. Market Inspector and other concerned for their information and guidance.
