IMPOSING A RENTAL FEE FOR THE USE OF THE POWER THRESHER BLOWER OWNED BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL FOR MAINTENANCE PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:
SECTION 1 : Definition of Terms:
Power Thresher – refers to the two (2) units of farms implements particularly described as follows;
a.) Mitsubishi Marino 16.5 P.S Model GM 401, with trailer Serial No. 108002
b.) Mitsubishi Marino 16.5 P.S. Model GM 401 with trailer Serial No. 108009
SECTION 2 : It is the duty of every Sangguniang Bayan to prescribed guidelines and policies under which properties owned by the Municipality shall be entrusted to an organization for its management and benefit, to wit:
a.) The irrigators association of BUsao, Agahay, Toril and San Roque, and the farmers association of barangay Cabawan and Aliguay will serve as the entity solely responsible for the care and maintenance or act as the general Manager on the operation of the two (2) units of the Power Thresher and to take charge on the proper implementation.
b.) A rental of one ganta or 1 ½ kl. Of cleaned and dried palay, whichever is convenient to the user or association will be imposed by the association to the users and the following sharing scheme will be.
a.) 53% will go to the association
b.) 33% will go to the operator
c.) 14% will go to the LGU-Maribojoc
c.) Crude Oil and other maintenance expenses will be shouldered by the Association.
d.) A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) shall be executed between the Local Government Unit and the Farmers Association through its President or respective authorities, to define its jurisdiction and accountability over matters relative to its management and operation
SECTION 3 : Any amount accrued from the rental of the two Power Thresher shall for part of the local funds to be accounted for by the Municipal Treasurer..
SECTION 4 : Effectivity.-
This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
