ADOPTING THE DESIGN AND CONCEPT OF MRS. ANGELES RAMASOLA CESAR OF A FLAG AS THE OFFICIAL MARIBOJOC MUNICIPAL FLAG IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, wit:
SECTION 1 : Definition of Terms:
a.) Municipal Flag – It is piece of cloth with a design and meaning of said ensign wherein different colors are adopted as a symbol of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol;
SECTION 2 : Interpretation of the Maribojoc Flag:
a.) Punta Cruz Watch Tower – Famous Historical Land Mark of Maribojoc.
b.) Twenty two (22) rays of the Sun – Represents the Twenty two (22) barangays of Maribojoc with ever flowing enthusiam and cooperation of the people.
c.) Green – Represents life
d.) White – Symbolizes Peace and Harmony among its people
e.) Blue – Represents Maribojoc Bay
f.) Cross – Symbolizes the religiosity of the Maribojocanon. It is the titular patron of the Maribojoc parish.
SECTION 3 : Respect: The Maribojoc Municipal Flag will be respected with due honor because it symbolizes of unity of the Maribojocanons.
SECTION 4 : The Maribojoc Municipal Flag shall be hoisted along the sides of
the Philippine National Flag and Bohol Flag every Monday and other day or in other special affair of the municipality and in the barangay.
SECTION 5 : During the hoisting of the Maribojoc Municipal Flag, the
Maribojoc Municipal Hymn shall be sang loudly and stand in attention by those who are present of such occasion.
SECTION 6 : Adoption – The design and concept of Mrs. Angeles Ramasola
Cesar of a flag is hereby adopted as the Official Municipal Flag of the Municipality of Maribojoc, Bohol.
SECTION 7 : Separability Clause: Should any part, section or provisions of
this ordinance be declared unconstitutional, or null and void by competent authorities such declaration shall not affect the remaining parts thereof.
SECTION 8 : Effectivity – This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
