AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE RULES, REGULATIONS AND IMPOSITIONS OF FEES OF THE MARIBOJOC WATERWORKS SYSTEM FOR CY 1983-1984.
Be it ordained by the Municipal Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:
SECTION 1: For the use of the Maribojoc Waterworks System, the following fees shall be collected.
a.) For houses or establishment with watermeter
1. for the first ten (10) cubic meters consumption
per month——————————————– P12.50
2. for excess of en (10) cubic meters per month
there shall be collected per cubic meter———- P 0.50
b.) For houses or establishment with no water meter (flat rate)
per month———————————————- P18.00
c.) Monthly installment fee of watermeter until fully paid——- P 5.00
d.) For every new installation—————————————- P 5.00
e.) For every re-opening of water connection after full
Payment of delinquency————————————— P30.00
SECTION 2: The fees prescribed shall be done and payable to the Municipal Treasurer at the end of each month the water service was rendered, provided, that a grace period of fifteen (15) days shall be given to the delinquent consumers.
SECTION 3: Failure of the consumer to pay the fees for two months shall authorize the waterworks system to disconnect the service of the delinquent consumer without prior notice to the said consumers.
SECTION 4: Water service shall be disconnected when defective faucet is not replaced after due notice or given for its replacement.
SECTION 5: Use of water outside the watermeter connection is likewise prohibited.
SECTION 6: Tampering of watermeter is punishable by disconnection and the payment of the entire price of the watermeter.
SECTION 7: Penalty: Any violation of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than P500.00 or not more than P1,000.00 or the water service shall likewise be disconnected.
SECTION 8: That this ordinance takes effect upon approval.
