Functional Statement:

1. Implement policies and programs established;
2. Provide health care that is universally accessible to individuals and families in the community in acceptable and affordable way;
3. Coordinate with the local Sanggunian, the Local Chief Executive, other offices and non-government organizations for planning and implementation of programs and activities; and
4. Implementation of food fortification, sustain Garantisadong Pambata, monitor compliance to the Asin Law (Iodized Salt) and promotion of breastfeeding.

Objective:

1. To provide satisfactory health services and better environmental sanitation to prevent, reduce and control risks and hazards for the good of the community.
