RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MARIBOJOCHANONS IN METRO MANILA THROUGH DRA. DIOSDADA CASTILLON BOISER TO DONATE ANY AVAILABLE READING MATERIALS BOOKS, BOOKLETS, PAMPHLETS, ANS MAGAZINES FOR THE MARIBOJOC MUNICIPAL LIBRARY.

WHEREAS, the National Library, DECS, Manila, had approved the application of the Municipal Government of Maribojoc, Bohol to establish the Municipal Library and Information Center;
WHEREAS, the National Library commits itself to provide the Municipal Library of Maribojoc, Bohol with some reading materials, yet like other established municipal libraries, the problem of inadequacy of reading materials prevails in order to cope up with the increasing reading public;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc is desirous of providing the reading public with more reading materials and the municipality itself has no sufficient funds to purchase books, pamphlets and magazines;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc is aware of the benevolent role of the association of Maribojochanons in Metro Manila in extending help in the promotion of social, cultural and intellectual development of the people of Maribojoc in order to educate themselves through self-study;
WHEREAS, books, pamphlets, magazines and other reading materials displayed in public libraries serve as a foundation of knowledge for our mental growth and they awareness in our national culture and the culture of other people and nations;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved to request the Maribojochanons in Metro Manila through Dra. Diosdada Castillon Boiser to donate any such available reading materials to the Maribojoc Municipal Library and Information Center, Maribojoc, Bohol.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all officers of the Maribojochanons in Metro Manila Association.
