AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P200,000.00) OUT OF THE UNAPPROPRIATED SURPLUS, GENERAL FUND, C.Y. 2007 FOR THE INCREASE OF DAILY WAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY PESOS ( P20.00) PER DAY OF SERVICE FOR EVERY CASUAL EMPLOYEE OF LGU-MARIBOJOC, BOHOL REGARDLESS OF THEIR LENGTH OF SERVICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIBOJOC, BOHOL, PURSUANT TO SEC. 447, LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991.

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Maribojoc, Bohol, that:
SECTION 1: APPROPRIATION AND SOURCE – The amount of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P200,000.00) is hereby appropriated out of the unappropriated surplus, General Fund, C.Y. 2007;
SECTION 2: PURPOSE – The amount of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P200,000.00) is
hereby appropriated for the increase of daily wage in the amount of P20.00 per day of service for every casual employee regardless of their length of service in the LGU-Maribojoc, Bohol, pursuant to Sec. 447, Local Government Code of 1991.
SECTION 3: The Human Resource Management Assistant and the Municipal Budget Officer
shall compute the daily wage increase plus their existing daily rate of their respective casual employees so that the correct daily wage will be established for the casual employees. The HRMA shall prepare a schedule of working days for casual employees who are to work during Saturdays and Sundays based on the exigency of service for the Maribojoc Waterworks pumping units, market cleanliness, garbage collection, parking areas and Punta Cruz Watch Tower. The casual employees shall render services for 40 hrs. a week or equivalent to 5 days a week even though his assignment falls on Saturdays and Sundays In this scheme, the wages of casual employees can not exceed the salary of the lowest paid permanent employee.
SECTION 4: This appropriation ordinance is good only for 22 working days per month per casual employee.
SECTION 5: EFFECTIVITY. This appropriation ordinance shall take effect upon approval and shall be retroactive on July 1, 2008;
